What should people expect from your class: To feel supported, grounded and nurtured as I guide you to find a deeper sense of connection with your body and mind. My intention is to teach you how to find freedom and space within yourself, reminding you that you are exactly where you need to be on your yogic journey. I teach my students how to be reflective, compassionate and non-judgemental of their own and other people’s bodies and practice. We explore how yoga helps us to live life with greater ease, understanding and awareness. Expect to question, consider, breathe, move and rest. The power of yoga is undeniably life changing, I really look forward to meeting you on your yogic journey.

If you weren’t a yoga teacher, what would you be? I've been a teacher since I was 21, I think teaching chose me. I first trained as a secondary Drama and English teacher working with young people in Yorkshire and London since 2014 and then became a yoga teacher. I  thrive off connecting with people and learning from them.

What advice would you give to your 16 year old self? Oh jeez! I would tell myself that 'you are enough', even though the world doesn’t make us feel like we are! Live life the way you want to. Be brave and individual and do what you love. Connect with like-minded people who will lift you up.🥰

What is your favourite asana/exercise?

Savasana! This pose is our greatest teacher! It is so confronting when we have to lie with ourselves in silence and stillness without any distraction. We can learn SO much about what is truly happening in our mind and body when we stop, feel and listen. All practice and poses are leading us to savasana! The magic of yoga ✨
