Pre/Post Natal
We offer a range of classes from pregnancy through to postnatal, with your baby right beside you on the mat. It’s a chance to move, connect, and become part of a supportive community. Many women who meet in our pregnancy classes continue the journey together into parent-and-baby sessions (often staying for tea and cake!).

We offer yoga classes from pregnancy through to post birth with your baby on the mat beside you. This gives you a chance to become part of a community, and the women who meet each other at pregnancy yoga, often stay on the journey together, coming along to mum and baby yoga classes with their babies and hanging around for tea and cake.

Reformer Pilates with your baby gently rebuilds your pelvic floor and core while your baby lies next to the machine. Unfortunately babies cannot be mobile for this class just because the machines are dangerous for inquisitive little fingers. Our pre-natal reformer Pilates classes are slow in pace and geared to strengthening the muscles required for a fit pregnancy but also softening where needed.
-
We run a number of post natal strength and fitness classes to help you rebuild and get strong after pregnancy and birth. Parent and baby barre is a safe yet high energy workout for the whole body, then our strength classes focus on lifting heavy weights for stronger muscles and bones.

Birth, Baby and Beyond is a full ante-natal course for expectant parents.
We have experts to guide you through every step of the way and every session will be held at our beautiful studio in Walthamstow. We also have a cafe for you to hang out and chat with other parents and build up that support network that helps you through those wobbles and wins during pregnancy, new parenthood and beyond. We want this to be as inclusive as possible, so we will offer single parent discount or you can bring along your birth partner to support you through the process. Over a series of 4 weekly 3 hour sessions, you'll cover hypnobirthing, have time with a midwife to understand everything about birth and creating a birth plan, we've got a pre-natal counsellor to help with any anxieties you might have around birth, first aid, yoga, feeding your baby and of course the all important opportunity to connect with other local parents-to-be: in our cafe throughout the course and a final lunch at our neighbours Sodo.
Cost is £199 for 2 parents, with a discount for single parents. The next course starts end Jan 2025, please do get in touch to register your interest. Attendees also get a £50 discount on our pre-natal 3 month unlimited membership, giving you access to all our prenatal classes on this page.

SLEEP CLINIC

We also have a hypnobirthing workshop for expectant parents, as well as a number of standalone workshops for post birth as part of our Birth, Baby and Beyond programme that will support you through the pre- and post-natal journey and into early parenting, offering nourishment, knowledge, and community.
Upcoming sessions: in the series include Baby Sign Language (October), Baby Kirtan, emotional wellbeing, and much more, with tea and cake after to meet other new parents.

Please ensure you have had your sign off for exercise from the doctor before coming, usually six weeks for a vagina birth and 12 weeks for a C-section.
We advise that you wait until the end of the first trimester if you haven’t done yoga, barre or reformer Pilates before.
If you have an established practise and you want to keep on coming to your regular classes, please ensure you advise the teacher and check in advance that they are qualified and therefore insured to have pregnant people in their class.
If the teacher agrees to you participating in class, please do take responsibility for adjusting your practise (arriving 10 mins early to discuss modifications ideally), and rest whenever you need.
If you aren’t sure how to adjust your practise, please do book into a pre-natal class first. If you aren’t sure if you should continue with your practise, please do check with your medical professional before coming to class.
